IU School of Law was concerned about the potential Safety & Security for the students if high wind’s impact the glass.  They wanted to preserve the view and “beef up” the glass top……

3M Safety and Security Ultra 400 Window Film was applied to these windows in the “Court Room” at IU School of Law.  The clear view was preserved while adding additional security to the windows.  We also applied the 3M Safety & Security Window Film to all the class rooms and computer library.

This is a skylight above the large stairwell in Gallahue Hall…notice the difference between finished windows and unfinished at the end.

The window tint will reduce 85% solar heat load and 80% harsh glare.

Garden in Columbus, Indiana. One of the country’s most highly regarded examples
of mid-century Modernist residences, the Miller House was designed by Eero Saarinen,

THE PROBLEM:

The Community Physicians Medical Group had a privacy issue. According to the Hospital information and Patient Privacy Act (H.I.P.P.A), all front entry and office slider windows between the lobby and interior office could not be clear glass for viewing of patients records etc. It would have been very costly to retrofit all the glass with frosted or sandblasted glass. WHAT TO DO?
